    Mills-Peninsula Health Services

    Mills-Peninsula Health Services has provided excellent-quality medical care to the San Mateo County community for more than 100 years. The organization operates two community health facilities with a total of 403 inpatient beds. Peninsula Medical Center, in Burlingame, CA, is an acute-care facility offering inpatient services such as orthopedics, cardiovascular surgery, a family birth center and emergency services. Mills Health Center, in San Mateo, CA, offers outpatient services including surgery, a cancer center, women’s health services and diagnostics. In November 2010, the brand new, state-of-the-art Mills-Peninsula Medical Center will open its doors to the community.

    Sutter Maternity and Surgery Center of Santa Cruz

    Sutter Maternity & Surgery Center (SMSC) offers state-of-the-art perinatal and medical/surgical services, combining the luxury of a fine hotel with the safety and security of a licensed accredited hospital. The hospital was designed and built to help patients feel as comfortable as possible. With 30 licensed beds, SMSC is small enough to provide the utmost personal attention to every patient. SMSC has received the Summit Award by Press Ganey Associates for the highest patient satisfaction in the county. With both physicians and midwives on staff, patients have a choice in their obstetrical care. We have six operating rooms, 12 birthing suites and 18 medical or surgical suites. The hospital is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).

    VNA of Santa Cruz County

    With over 50 years of providing quality state-of-the-art health care at home, the Visiting Nurse Association of Santa Cruz County provides total patient care through its staff of Registered Nurses, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Medical Social Workers, Home Health Aides, Dietitians, and Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapists.
